ABOUT
Kelly Murray is a multidisciplinary storyteller whose diverse portfolio includes contributions in art, film, and creative writing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English Literature and History from the University of Delaware.
With more than 10 years of professional experience in marketing and communications, Kelly has crafted ad copy, blogs, scripts, and more for several oganizations in the Greater Philadelphia area. Her original short stories and editorials have been published in a variety of publications including Odyssa Magazine, The WC Press, and the internationally acclaimed Accidentally Wes Anderson.
In 2013, Kelly began pursuing filmmaking. Since then, she has written and directed multiple short narrative and documentaries, and her films have screened in museums and film festivals throughout the United States. In 2016, her debut short film The Astronomer was selected for a video exhibit at The Delaware Contemporary and received the Curatorial Choice Award (Best in Show). She is currently an Executive Board Member of the nonprofit Philadelphia Women in Film & Televison (PWIFT).
