In my art practice, my goal is to create vivid works that transport the viewer to another time and place.
My current project, The Art of Correspondence, embraces this notion by repurposing vintage postcards into new acrylic landscape paintings. Each work is a meeting of old and new and offers the viewer a glimpse into the past — and the correspondence practices of American society at the turn of the 20th century.
